2013 was a rather
dull year for many of us in the tourism industry, but Incredible India is all
set to welcome 2014 with lot of optimism and aspirations. The
stakeholders in the tourism Industry feel that 2014 will be a better
year.

There have been positive signs already to believe the year will be
better for the tourism industry. The Travel Industry along with the Ministry of
Tourism, Govt. of India has taken many tourism-friendly initiatives to attract
more International tourists to India.
One of the major such initiative is granting visa on arrival for tourists from
more than 40 countries. The countries for which visa on arrival facility would
be extended include the US, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia, the United Arab
Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands,
Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Poland, Norway and Ireland.
Under the visa on arrival system, India
has agreement with different countries, including Japan,
Finland, Singapore, Indonesia,
Luxembourg, New Zealand, Cambodia,
Vietnam, the Philippines, Laos
and Myanmar.

Various
Tourism associations
based in India have been pressing the trade and the Ministry to have more
tourist friendly facilities and infrastructure across India and provide them
with security, better infrastructure, and more importantly have a code conduct
and best of business ethics amongst the Tourism Stakeholders in India in order
to project Destination India one of the most sought after destination, which
should be the target to be achieved by 2016. If feel it is very much
possible, since Incredible India has the best of everything in terms of world
famous monuments, culture, history, flora and fauna,
festival celebration
together with best of luxury hotels to budget hotels to suite every
international travelers budget.

rated one of the must 50 visit destinations in the world. One of the 7
wonders of the world, and a poetry in Marble or the eternal monument of Love,
Taj Mahal in Agra is a must visit Wonder for everyone in the world.

Destinations like Kerala, with its
backwaters, Ayurveda Resorts,
Presently India tour gets over 6
million tourists out of the world share of 1 billion, which rather low compared
to the potential and on going tourism-friendly initiatives will build on the
growth mechanism and soon we will strive to double the present inflow of
tourists.
